Without our usual access to friends, family, and other support networks, we have all been challenged to protect our mental health in new ways. It is no surprise that self-care and mental health has become a hot topic in 2021.

Our psychological well-being is also under attack during the pandemic. We all experience anxiety and stress — from work, the spouse and in-laws, the kids, car trouble. The list can go on and on. But even though we find ways to manage at the moment, chronic stress can ultimately hurt our long-term health by changing our brain functionality, weakening our immune system, and triggering other conditions.

Self Care

There are many ways to manage stress and anxiety; from yoga and deep breathing, prayer, and meditation, scenic walks to cooking classes, and bubble baths, self-care comes in many forms. So regardless of the activities you enjoy, a self-care routine can bring you countless benefits

The Role of Tea

The ritual of tea drinking is a popular form of self-care. The preparation and brewing process is inherently calming. A variety of nutrients like Ltheanine found in green and black teas can provide a nirvana effect of soothing signals to our brains to help us relax. Tea also provides aromatherapy to improve breathing, relaxation, and stress relief.

On our quest to help us thrive, we discovered plant-based adaptogens. These herbal remedies combat stress and anxiety by restoring balance to our bodies, bringing a sense of peace and calm. This re-balancing process is called homeostasis, and it helps our bodies reduce the negative side effects of stress — heartburn, depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, and many others.

Adaptogens have been used for centuries and across cultures as remedies that bring the body back to its original design. So, they are powerful and valuable for a natural approach to recover from stress and adapt to the ever-changing world.

Tea for Anxiety and Stress

We decided to create a stress and anxiety-relieving tea that is enjoyable to drink all day, every day. Whether you are relaxing at home, moving up the ladder at work, or taking a long drive, this blend is a delicious way to stay focused, calm, and hydrated. At home, it's safe for the whole family and caffeine-free to drink at night
