What do you usually eat for breakfast? How about for lunch and dinner?
"Most people really aren't aware of the importance of a healthy diet, or they're confused about what they should be eating," About fifteen years ago, I revamped my own diet to follow what the current evidence suggests is the best way to avoid heart disease: a whole-food, plant-based style of eating, typically Mediterranean style.
As I am getting closer to my 30s I am noticing that the way I am eating has a huge effect on my daily living, it affects my mood, the way I feel physically, and even my motivation for my everyday activities. Your “diet” (which I do not like calling this, I rather refer to it as “healthy lifestyle eating habits”) has a huge impact on your life and what you do with it. Remember, you are what you eat! For an example of what I typically eat is listed below:
Chicken, fish, shrimp, salmon, tuna, beef (sirloin)
Black rice, brown rice, quinoa, sweet potatoes, whole-wheat pasta, beans, garbanzos, oats
ALL VEGETABLES AND GREENS
Kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, pineapple, avocado, banana, watermelon, lemon, lime
